“I interned at thera-play as a student, I discovered a group of passionate people who were driven to the job for all the right reasons. I love working beside people that make what we do feel like “a cause” instead of just a paycheck. A good day at the clinic is a blast to be a part of. We all care about our patients, and demonstrate it through a wide range of styles utilized. From devoted parents bringing those skills to our setting, to learned academics, to silly aunts and uncles like myself getting to put the “play” in thera-play while reaching our goals. I love the emotional connections that form the foundation of our sessions, as well as the cognitive clinical challenges we get to disguise as just a good time.”
